How can we become fat and have yo-yo weight problems if our prayer is so noble and unselfish like this? How can the world be free from destruction even when eating we express so much greed and selfishness?
Enjoy the refreshing, delicious, and healthy butterfly pea tea with lemongrass and lime from Indonesia. Butterfly pea flowers (bunga telang) contain bioflavinoid that stimulates hair growth and antioxidant proanthocyanidin.
When you boil the flowers with water, the color of the water will turn blue as the pH is neutral. When you add the lime juice, the color will change to reddish purple as the pH becomes acidic. You can see the color change in the lower glass in the food photo above.
Difficulty: Super easy
• 1000 ml water
• 12 fresh or dried butterfly pea flowers
• Juice from one lime or as desired. The lime adds a fragrant touch to the drink.
• 2 crushed lemongrass stalks
• Raw honey or yellow unrefined rock sugar as desired
• Ice cubes
Boil the flowers + water + crushed lemongrass stalks until the water becomes blue and the lemongrass stalks yield a fragrant aroma.
Allow to cool before you mix it with the ice cubes, lime juice, and raw honey/yellow unrefined rock sugar. To preserve the raw honey's enzymes, do not mix the honey with hot liquid.
